China cheated in the 2008 Bejing Olympics!!!

I'm sure this is not new news to any of you. But I had to post my take on this. First, I'd like to thank whoever owns the stryde hax blog for alerting me and the world to this travesty. There is also a very good article on The Huffington Post regarding this subject as well.

There is PROOF on an OFFICIAL CHINESE GOVERNMENT WEB SITE ("General Administration of Sport of China") of Olympian He Kexin's age. Of course, the site page has been taken down as well as the cache's of the page.

On this page, there is an Excel spread sheet that states He Kexin was born on January 1, 1994!!! That would make her 14, NOT the required 16 to compete in the gymnastic competition in the Olympics!

I'll focus on a couple of the pages that prove her age. There are more out there, like the one's The Huffington Post talk about. But I'm focusing on the ones that I have screen shots of.

The first page has a title of "2005 National Gymnastics运动员上报注册page in The Matrix" and "2005 National Gymnastics运动员上报注册table.". The categories of the cells are "Mechanism", "Name (middle)", "别with", "Date of birth", "贯nationality", "birth", "Note单位册", "备注".

Keeping this in mind, we find He Kixin's information. There are entries that state "799, "Xin accepted what" and "F", "1994.1.01", "Beijing", "Beijing", "Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports," "neck Note"". Here is a screen shot:

Nope, she doesn't look over 16 to you either, does she?!?!?

I know that Chinese/Japanese people tend to look younger, but come on! There is NO WAY she is 16!!!

Now, to be fair...I'm not accusing He Kexin of cheating. I am not accusing her coach. I am not accusing her parents. BUT I at the very least lay blame on the Chinese government. I don't know the circumstances as to why she competed. For all I know she is being forced to compete against her will. Maybe her family was threatened if she didn't keep up the lie and compete. I don't know. But I do know that there is adequate proof out there that records have been doctored. Web sites have been censored. And the world has been lied to by the Chinese government about her age and many other's I'm sure.

I only hope the Olympic committee follows up with this issue. I hate to say they need to punish the gymnastics team; like barring them from competing in the next Olympics or something. Like I said, it might not be their fault. They might be unwilling participants in this whole mess. But something needs to be done. A wrong needs to be righted.
