Rate of burn... |
|
Man...I need that hybrid!
I'm currently burning diesel at a rate of 50 gal/hr or more...24/7 and it ain't that cheap $4.00/gal fuel in the states. Delivered price to the South Pole is $29+/gal

Wow, that's pretty awesome though!
I checked my page statistics and, yep, there's a hit from Antarctica!
I just think that's way cool. Thanks for posting and keep warm!!

y'er joshin' on the "hit from Antarctica" thing right?
to my knowledge there aren't any ISPs here on the entire continent...everything is routed back to...whatever country is sponsoring the particular connection. Mine for example will show either Englewood or Aurora Colorado (usap.gov domain). The (private network) satellite sends the signal from Pole...or whatever other U.S. station back to HQ...from there the packet jumps onto the internet.
I'm pretty sure that even the private adventure outfitters use some type of satellite connection that will route back to wherever they can get the cheapest rates from.

See for yourself (sorry about the size...and yes, I know, my hits suck ass):

Google does okay. I like how I can set it up for stats on each page, etc.
But to get real deep info, sitemeter seems to be better. But they are uglier and you have to go to the site and log in to see your stats.
